Something Dark

No expectations
No clue to where it would lead
Afraid to open up
But slowly there was a change
Blissful thoughts and emotions
Perceptions that didn't exist before
Yet it wasn't all euphoric
Small amounts of pain
But different from common form
It was a extraordinary
Heart cringing
That made you yearn for more
It wasn't like the fairy tales
Yet it was still lovely
Something to call
A beautiful dark twisted fantasy
