Something Different

You had said:

"One would be hasty in their choice.

A book, a journal, a thought, an idea,"

instead of something we need.

So I choose, without a doubt, my voice.

Without it, I cannot ask.

I cannot speak.

I cannot express what must be said.

I am silent, a mummer, a mime at best,

Without it I die an unheard death.
