Something Happened

I'm going to kiss away all your hurt, I'm standing by your side because I want to make this work.

I don't want to lash out and hurt you anymore, I'm understanding how words can leave a sore.

Damn I've been wrong for so long, and I'm ready to make our house a happy home.

How dare I hurt the one I say that I love, I have no right to make you cry as we fight.

Hurting you I lost, I have not won.

You are my world and I'm ready to stay in my place, That hurt never again will you have to face.

Something happened today in my heart, and with you still in my world I'm ready to play my part.

 I Love You.

I like to write about reality, rather it’s something I have experienced personally or someone’s situation.
