Something more than Strength

I can’t remember the day… or the year… But I remember I felt happy, elated.
Someone actually said I was good at something.
It put a smile on my face.
In that moment I knew I could accomplish goals, and never stop. There’s was some power in writing. It became this fuel to fire that never ceased.
If I knew what is was about stringing letters into words that made sentences so exhilarating, I would be telling everyone there was. But for each one of us, there’s something about writing that makes us tick like clockwork. It allows us to challenge ourselves, and others.
There’s a sense of relief when I write.
There’s a sense of freedom when I write.
There’s a sense of rebellion when I write.
These are all emotions I feel as I write out a novel because writing is the purest form of expression. They say that our nation is a melting pot, but what makes us that melting pot is the way we express ourselves.
There’s something more than power in strength in writing. Individually, we just have to find out why.
