(poems go here) Life can’t be hard when you have people to be right by your side I seem to be the only sad girl who can’t seem to keep her head held high A girl with a smile so vain It feels like everyday it seems to rain But through this poetry I release my pain In my eyes I am a African queen and nobody can take me off my throne I know I have been judged in life but is it because of my skin tone? I’m like fire I can’t bring you satisfaction But I can bring a distraction To me, fire brings desire These rhymes I bring are straight from the heart So sad to know how something so strong can split apart
