Something Will Be Better

Someone please tell me what I need to do.
Everyone tells me what I need to do,
But no one knows what they want me to do.
I'm crying out for you.
I know what I want in you.
I know what I want in us.
Please, let me know what should be in us.
I have ambitions for a new day.
Every day I have new conditions to reach those ambitions,
And every condition is a new
Rendition to hold back those ambitions.
So, I call out to you for a greater mission.
Just, please listen
Or give me permission
To cleanse myself in a way,
I don't want to be myself.
I want to be someone else,
Which is just a variation of trying to be myself.
I want to be gone,
But that is just another situation
Where no one will listen.
They do listen, though.
Life tells me different things,
And I try to figure her out.
It's a fruitless effort to try to
Interpret these foreign sounds.
Yet, I'll keep pushing through,
Knowing that something will be better in the future.
Nothing is ever concrete, and I can
Be whatever I may.
Whatever I choose could be something better than
I should never loose.
