Something Worth Fighting For

L

Lonely, life, linger, lost.

Lonelyness was my constant companion, holding my hand day and night.

Life kept throwing me curveballs, smacking me in the face.

Lingering sadness that didnt give a fuck about what I needed to do.

Lost in my own thoughts, drowning in this sea of blood.

O

Over, obliterate, odd, one-sided.

Over the course of this night I've dragged the razor many times.

Obliterate my brains so I dont have to think.

Odd, people say they want to die but never have the courage to do the damn act.

One-sided conversations with my demons that just smile and stroke my flames of rage.

V

Vain, vein, venom, vulnerable.

Vain attepts to get help, to crawl towards the light at the end of the goddamn tunnel.

Veins begging to be opened, begging for release.

Venom coursing through my heart, my soul, dripping from my masked smile.

Vulnerable to the words that have cracked and shattered my armor.

E

Enemy, error, evil, exhausted.

Enemies bang down the doors that have been nailed again and again, trying to rebuild the person I use to be.

Error, error, this program can no longer work.

Evil thoughts in a whirlpool, splashing my blood-soaked hands.

Exhausted, I finally crawl out of the hole I've been living in.

LOVE

Love... something worth fighting for.
