Something You Can Rely On

Each day

each morning

whether early

whether late

the sun will rise

each season

whether blazingly hot

whether freezing cold

the sun will rise

whether hidden by clouds

peaking over mountain tops

glistening over rivers

whether warming your skin

feeding flowers

it is there

when hope depleats

when your world crumbles

the sun will rise.
