Sometimes
Sometimes you have to go down a path one which may difficult to understand from the depths of your soul which lead to those moments were you lose all control to the pinnacle of the decadence of your patience to the essence of discovering who you are is not who you said you would be. Sometimes you have to turn your back on those that you swore to never leave because they already left you. You have to escape the past and push past perceived barriers and limitations and become greater even if it is at the expense of your definition of self.
The lonely cold nights are better than the warm ones which never prepare you for the blizzard ahead. Full of steam with the audacity to dream sometimes it is in pains persistence where the lessons learned are remembered and become unconscious reaction. I wish I could say that every decision made was the best; I wish I could say that turning my back on you was right but sometimes it’s not about right or wrong but about the willingness to be wrong for the perseverance of the possibility of doing right.
Of course you are missed, of course as I write these lines I think of what could have been but then in a moment of truth it hits, all the rejections have been eclipsed because sometimes you have to give up what you desire the most so you can be where you belong. Sometimes to see the light you have to do wrong.
