Sometimes

Sometimes

by Brandon Arthur King

Sometimes, the brightest lights cast the darkest shadows.

Sometimes, one feels things so intensely, they feel nothing.

Sometimes, one can forgive others, but not oneself.

Sometimes, one can give love but cannot receive it.

Sometimes, one wants to be alone.

And sometimes...sometimes, one doesn't.
