Sometimes

Sometimes I love you,

And sometimes I don’t.

Sometimes I love you

When others won’t.

I’ll hold you close

And hold you dear

When the going gets rough,

And the trouble is here.

Sometimes it’s hard

And sometimes it’s rough.

But together we’ll be

Strong enough.

So weather the storm,

And weather the gale.

For I know that always

I’ll tell this tale.

This tale of grief,

This tale of woe.

For sadly, our love

Will not grow.

But I will stay

Right by your side,

And never leave

This great big ride.

You’ll never see me

For me, and I’m shown

That I cannot imagine

A world on my own.

So hold me close,

And hold me dear

When the going gets rough,

And the trouble is here.

Because sometimes I love you,

And sometimes I don’t.

Forever and always,

I never won’t.
