Sometimes

I’m tired

I’m tired of seeing women bleed out

Teenage girls bleeding from expert cuts

They make incisions in their plastic skins

Like crash test dummies-vacuous and dumb

Their anger has nowhere to seep to now

Easier for everyone if we just stay  numb

We annihilate women

Put them in boxes neat as the monitors they occupy

 Like digital  coffins

IPS, LED Curved and ultrawide

We’re killing women

With restrictions and convictions they don’t want

With labels and meaures and standards they don’t need

With taunts,fists,knives,guns,

We do it  in packs and sometimes one on one

We give them what they were asking for...

And call it  boys being boys

Instead of scum

They are out of their bodies

Anorexic of love

Like mamnequins

They are perfectionists

So scared of failure they don’t even recognise success

How would you see your beauty when it’s choked by stress?

We’re lost

When women have voices but they are inside their heads

Over-thinking commentary someone else said

All I can think about is what happens when we’re dead?

They do it so perfectly they don’t even bleed
