Sometimes
I just want to be happy,
Lying next to the woman I love;
Content in the moment of being free.
Forgetting the wrongs
Because it just feels right
Holding each other in the dark.
Sometimes
I just want to smile,
Giggling at our silliness;
Laughing at the antics that we share.
Smiling till my cheeks hurt,
Slaphappy as I am,
I'm still madly in love with you.
Sometimes
In this cursed world,
I wish these blessed moments
Would never end.
I just want us to share
Some times together.
