Sometimes

Sometimes I do not know what to say

It can be hard just to say hey

The spoken word has never been my forte

Sometimes they say words cut like a knife

But the written word is here for life

Which can always cause some strife

Sometimes people just don't understand me

I can be busy like a bee

While never making a plea

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like

If I could speak my mind like Mike

To always say the words with a strike

Sometimes I just don't think they understand

What it feels like to have my mouth jammed

And to leave your words on the paper crammed
