Sometimes

Sometimes.. Sometimes I wish the world could truly be united Sometimes I wish all the bad things would come to an end Sometimes I wish my wishes really came true Sometimes I wish that the things that are worked so hard for become easier Sometimes I wish that the sport that has captured my heart and many others would be more recognized Sometimes I wish that things would go according to plan Sometimes I wish pain was nonexistent Sometimes I wish that Wrestling wasn’t so bittersweet Sometimes I wish that I could have been that solid wrestler that everyone thought I was… Sometimes I wish that those matches I lost went in my favor Sometimes I wish I had more time… Sometimes I wish that my goals weren’t just beyond my reach Sometimes I wish that I could have lived up to all the expectations, including my own… Sometimes I wish I would perform under pressure Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and kick myself in the ass and say ‘’STAY FOCUSED’’ Sometimes I wish I didn’t take the easy route Sometimes I wish that those takedowns, those falls, those back points, those majors, were all after I got injured Sometimes I wish I that I was up there with the State Qualifiers that I’ve beaten Sometimes I wish that this sport that has captured my heart was more recognized by the world Sometimes I wish the world would take after how WRESTLING changes people for the better Sometimes I wish wrestling didn’t affect me so much, if it didn’t then the word sometimes would have lost its drive and meaning, the word sometimes wouldn’t spark so many ideas or questions.
