Sometimes I still think of

Sometimes I still think of you,

Think of the moments we made,

Breathing less every day,

Taking the steps I was not ready for,

I hide away to keep you from seeing how I really feel,

You will never see how I feel because you are blind to our friendship, not the love we

once had,

Those moments we had, all cherish forever,

The long talks, staying up all hours,

Months have past but time still seems the same,

Why can't I let you go?

Why can't I look forward to my future?

I guess...What they say about first loves, they never fully leave,

I did this for us,

I've done everything for us when I said I'm over us,

I was never really over us, to begin with, but you had to believe so I could leave this train

wreck of a relationship,

We had been damaged from the start,

It will never be better,

We just weren’t truly meant to be,

Learning but failing is not great but I hope one day we'll find better.
