Sometimes I'm Not Real

Oh, honesty We’ve led a merry dance haven’t we? But the tangled web we weave… It’s time to come clean I’ve wrapped myself in layers to keep you close So little of you has leapt from my lips Always to my chagrin And yet, I don’t think I can find you again So I’ve dusted off my pen You’ve spoken to him I write without fear, without doubt I write to remember, or forget about These things that tear me up without The least little reprieve, so I’ll write about Honesty What I remember, at least
