Sometimes There's No Change
It comes in genie bottles and from the devil himself
It comes from the tip of the tongue and it runs with the hounds in hell
Rides with them in the infernos below our feet and it rages within me so deep that I want it to dissipate and chase it away so it can never return because it fills my head with such mischevious idiocy that even I can be completely ignorant to the falsities that lay within its wake.
It tells me that sleep is irrelevant and that friends are always going to keep a dagger handy so they can slowly watch you bleed out from behind until the final blow.
It tells me that until life gives a true meaning, existentialism doesn't seem all that bad.
These are all lies. The things I want changed, need changed are the insignificant lies that fill every fiber, part, and cell in my being-in anyone's being.
To be a person, one has to enjoy life. Enjoy presence and love and even a bit of self dignity. Yet, can self dignity, life and love change a lie? Or are we the very cause of it? Are we as humans the very cause of our own downfall? Of these sinister fowl brutes that corrupt our society?
To change a lie is nearly impossible
Not in the least bit succesful because of who we are.
We're all monsters inside and we need to change. If we as a whole human race could stop the lies, even the white ones, we'd benefit everyone. It'd benefit me.
What do I think we need changed? Maybe it's all just that we as people are all the same. Maybe it's about all the pain and nothing to gain but all of this sorrow. What we need arranged is something that's sane that won't pull us all apart by the brain and keep us in this sheltered and vengeful state of unconscience mind.
Are we going to make this world better? Can we make this world better?
Whatever the answer is, whatever the outcome-it will still be unchanged. The original thought of difference will rise back up. Yet, what is this difference?
Difference in me? In you? Difference in those hounds of hell, those devilish words and that spiteful wish.
There's always a liar, a snake in the grass. Always a cry in the shadows of madness. There's always a liar, constantly, waiting, and waiting, and waiting...
So as much as there is just this one thing I want changed. I know that this little grusome part of life-as much as it needs to- just can't be undone
