Somewhere

There is poetry in here somewhere

Deep inside a dying mind so immeasurable

Maybe within the walls

That a single fly sits

They reveal the articles of our past

behind the lenses

The image of a child who sits

Written in pen a notebook

Within a broken heart

Backing the iris and the pupil

The universe hides there

Washed over a sunset behind the hills

The last dashing star

On the last dawn of your life

The final page on an uncharted novel

There is poetry in here somewhere

Go find it
