Somwhere..Prairie
Somewhere wind washes over you
Somewhere the grass swirls like the ocean
Somewhere sand drifts into every crevice
Somewhere hawks scout for their next meal
Somewhere a bee hovers over wildflowers
Somewhere cows lull calves to sleep
Somewhere frisky horses buck
Somewhere a deer flicks its tail to warn
Somewhere coyotes yip into the night
Somewhere stars can be clearly seen
Somewhere a strange calm envelopes you
Somewhere a cow trail is leading you home
Somewhere grasses crunch beneath your feet
Everywhere the prairie sweeps you into its grasp
