The Son
Born to a young virgin
In a stable
Angels announced His birth
Raised as carpenter
Grew up to be preacher, teacher, and healer
Made the sick well again
Made the blind see
Made the deaf hear
Made the lame walk
Made the dead live again
Taught people to love God and their neighbors
Forgave the sinners’ sins
Followed by thousands during His life.
Arrested by his enemies, flogged with a whip, and crucified on a tree
Only to rise again, denying Death’s victory
His followers spread throughout the world
His story has affected empires and republics alike
The world measures time based on His birth.
One Son, born in a stable, became the most influential force on Earth
He is Jesus Christ, King of kings and Lord of lords,
The Son of the Almighty God.
