Son of God

I stood there, to be crucified
Against the Holy Jesus who had no faults to hide
The crowd they scream and yell
"The Son of God should go to hell"
I called out that I Should die
But the angry crowd didn't hear my cry
The crowd they scream and yell
"The Son of God should go to hell"
That mans a saint and I'm the sinner
If you kill him then death is the winner
The crowd they scream and yell
"The Son of God should go to hell"
Can't you tell? Don't you see?
I'll sin again so let this man be
The crowd they scream and yell
"The Son of God should go to hell"
Then Jesus is condemned to death
He's prepared to take his final breath
The crowd they scream and yell
"The Son of God will go to hell"
He stood there, with no faults to hide
But with that overlooked he would be crucified
The crowd they scream and yell
"Son of God just go to hell"
He drags the cross up to
deaths hill
He utters to God that it's not his will
The crowd they scream and yell
"The Son of God should go to hell"
With a frightening boom the thunder crashed
With a frightening shock the lightening flashed
The crowd they scream and yell
"The Son of God should go to hell"
Jesus is dead, death had won
That is the end for Gods only Son
The crowd they scream and yell
"The Son of God  has gone to hell"
People rejoice, disciples mourn
With a cocky cry pharisees scorn
Three days later the crowd they scream and yell
The son of God has returned from hell
He's returned He's set free from the grave
He is praised and declared mighty to save
Death has lost and God has shown his power
He will again until the final hour
