Son of the King

A mission, a quest A grand adventure to pursue Night had set A forest to push through. A dark night, a twisted path A steep, rocky slope to climb A far off laugh Sends chills up his spine A ferocious tempest A calm in the storm Rain turns to mist His hope is reborn A distant light The sun shines lights the trail Eyes focused on the sight He knows he cannot fail. A knowledge firm Causes his young heart to sing And within him to burn He is a prince, the Son of the King.
