The song of the arisin

A voice alone can draw a crowd

make it two to crank it loud

add one more to ramp the sound

put in four to shake the ground

let them sing to each a note

a different one by which they wrote

a melody of words collide

to take you on a journey wide

a song you hear that speaks true

a telling of all the things you do

from every tear that left your eyes

to the smile you wore as disguise

to feel the rhythm come from within

with every pulse you live again

each beat feels like new breath

a drum of the heart no longer in death

the mask you wore is cracking

it falls fast to the floor

please lift your sad eyes

and feel the pain no more

rise with the sun as it gives light

be proud of yourself again you can fight

the scars you had start to fade small

it's a new day to give it your all
