The Song Bird

The Song Bird Appears Singing her sweet morning song Waiting for the sun to show his brilliant face As she secretly Longs to spread her wings. Today is the day That she Presents to the world Her bright feathers of deep blues and royal purples But she is just disappointed By the higher power's punishment Of rain and darkness And yet, She Stays naive And optimistically hopes for a brighter tomorrow Only for the Hurt to reciprocate
