"Song Bird"
I love to listen
from nature's sound
to a man's word.
Sometimes, I think I
should get a
Song Bird
-a lil friend
to sing
sweet songs
from Day to
Night,
for me.
How
-ever
...
I wouldn't cage you.
Even if it was of the
purest gold & diamond ecrusted.
I know you need to spread your
wings- be as free as you can...
I would never want you to be sad,
my dear.
All I can ask is for you to be here
when I awake from rest...
To entrance me with your voice
of melodic melodies.
Take me to a different world
-forgetting my own.
Have me sleeping awake,
dreaming with eyes open.
So sing to me, my dear
Song Bird.
