A Song of Clean

Thanks for letting yourself back into my life.

The beats of the music you sent me

swing in my mind like a pendulum

they envelop my mind,

not yet my heart though.

that's still healing from the time I ripped it up because I thought it was best for me to heal myself,

a new person

And I am ,

a new person I mean, but not in the way that

like, a break up would make me a new person

I’m just the kind of person who realized her full potential

Your instrumentation that you brought me

came in to my life like the smooth sounds of Rhodes

ironing the edges out of a year

those edges haven't come back

and I want to thank you for that because we knew How good it was, and we had to be who we are

just two people

but Two people

not one, we are reaching in different directions equally

like, in the way that a lovers knot comes undone

now we, as branches, can do what branches do

branch

so, Thank you for letting your self back in to my life

but for respecting

who we became

tag:

respecting

who we Became

who we will Become

who we Are
