The Song of Cruor

Location

Sword held aloft

Shield black as coal

Eyes set ablaze

See through to your soul

Forward he strides

Fate in his hand

Now is his hour

He comes to a stand

Unholy power he wields

Bent to his will

Dark purpose discarded

Fate unfulfilled

With power unmatched

He cuts through the horde

The hand of fate

His unbreakable sword

Now triumphant he stands

Unyielding, alone

His calling complete

He wanders the road

Blade on his back

he still wanders home

Sword held aloft

Shield black as coal

Eyes set ablaze

See through to your soul

His journey behind him

He has found his way home

Friends all around

‘til the trumpets of war

Once again sound

Yet the battle within

Seems ne’er to end

For different is he

He sees through different eyes

He is less connected

And less frequently lies

Though he is strong

‘tis not why he stands out

Sword held aloft

Shield black as coal

Eyes set ablaze

See through to your soul

Onward he travels

Humble and strong

Feel now his presence

And carry his song

Sword held aloft

Shield black as coal

Eyes set ablaze

See through to your soul

Now triumphant he stands

Unyielding, alone

From daylight to dawn

He wanders the road

Today to forever

He wanders alone
