A Song Is Here
A Song Is Here
By: Dominic Mobley
The universe has asked me a question
What is one thing that you can’t live without?
I was so confused and frustrated that I had to choose one
But if I have to choose I would say my song
Let me tell you about my song
My song has harmony and pebbles
Pampering with laughs and identifying the riddles
Be a rainbow in the mystery of my song
In the clouds, dreaming wild
Be my own criminal if something goes wrong
Can’t love if I don’t understand the rain
Cage up with a clock on my brain
Tick tock tick tock running pain
Love is my song and the song is playing over and over again
Love is the river that exchange appearances with the clouds
Reminding me that love liberates into the sea
Piece by piece
Love doesn’t fear me
Spreading its beauty through different eyes with one blink
Beauty of love
Love of beauty
Can’t live without your games and your games are silly
As a child, I was nervous to sing
Afraid for my lyrics to come to life and wearing jewelry
Judging this song from left to right
Putting on robotic smiles to show that it’s right
My song was shy with an expression of hi and goodbye
A song that has been with me since birth but been treated like a curse
This song!
This song right here!
Nobody can sing it but me
Nobody can feel it but me
Nobody can love it like me
This song has its own vibration
Sweet and bitter tastes of satisfaction
What do you know about this song?
Why can’t I live without this song?
This song is I
This song is love
This song exist within my being
Let the heartbroken stories be my song
Let the lessons that I’ve learn be my song
Let the words of others regardless if they are right or wrong be my song
Let reality be my song
Let intimacy be my song
Let anger be my song
Let sadness and joy be my song
Let understanding be my song
Let my body be my song
No matter what it’s a part of me and I have to own it
Let life write the lyrics
Therefore, this song is my journey
My love!
My way of saying that I can’t live without it as of today
