song of an immigrant mother

nursing homes. senior citizens.

its where the money comes from

traveled from sudan to germany.

working for a living now.

rough hands, full of faith.

her dreams become their dreams, the life of an immigrant is hard.

but she prays to god that her kids will become and recieve everything she never got.

long hours, little pay.

come home, clean up, pay the bills. its always the same thing.

she sings her song while she remembers the war.

and prays to god once more.
