Song for the Land

Here I stand in the hills of green

Surrounded by the mountains and all the streams

I hope to God that others may see the beauty

Of the earth that is our home

Tell me how can we believe in green

When all we do is cut down our trees ?

How can we say we have clean water

When the oil in it is so very thick

So take a stand and join my cause

Or else these hills will soon be gone
