Travel with me to a world of spooks and gore,

Blood reigns here and its subjects are the knives of death,

Sharp to the touch, sharp to the mind, sharp to the body,

‘Till the sword ends its flurry of strikes.

Travel with me to a planet of Predators and Aliens,

Running is the only option and you will never stop sprinting,

Legs grow weary, legs become sore, legs will collapse upon one-another,

‘Till the devil stops prying you apart.

Travel with me to the light of red and white,

Here is your end and the end is just the beginning of the horror,

Working 24/7, working for no reward, working to your death,

‘Till the moon hides its speckled face.

Travel with me to the comfort of home and familiarity,

Scared to look out the window and out into the chilled air of darkness,

Awake to never return, awake from the slumber of your gothic dreams, awake to

the sound of the owls in the twilight,

‘Till the sun strips the stars from their faint glow of the darkness.
