The Song of the Pianist

His fingers sail across the keys.

With each touch of white or black

Notes ring out

In a unique melody.

With each touch of white or black,

Pressed gently yet deliberately,

In a unique melody,

A story is told.

Pressed gently yet deliberately,

Wanting to be heard,

A story is told

In a nostalgic tone.

Wanting to be heard,

Notes ring out

In a nostalgic tone.

His fingers sail across the keys.
