A Song of Simplicity

A Song of Simplicity

Both words and thoughts

Create a work of art

A lot of it comes straight from the heart

It’s simply a song of simplicity

One can hear it through desperate times

Only to wonder if it is a sign

Leading them to their hopes and dreams

It’s simply a song of simplicity

Ringing in their ear it whispers

Leaving them with those unknown shivers

Who can tell me where it’s from?

It’s simply a song of simplicity

That pleasing sound I’d hear once more

Not a worry or a doubt

Just plain, uncombined

It’s simply a song of simplicity
