Song of Souls
I know not of clean white shoes
If you've worn them twice they're dirty
My heart may have stopped but
My eyes still see.
Our lips play games I never thought that I knew
They say what doesn't kill you
Makes you stronger
Too bad that I'm already dead.
Funny how you believed
The lies but not the truth,
You say that I shock you
I know that I shock you.
I was sick of living so I died
Through your kisses.
I was burning love,
Burning up rose petals
In the ashes.
The trees cast shadows and
Call out to you.
The colors twist and turn
A stranger follows you.
Bury the body,
Ground is thick
You better do it quick.
Try and keep up
I'll haunt you for your life
I wished I was your wife.
Our lips play games I never thought that I knew
They say what doesn't kill you
Makes you stronger
Too bad that I'm already dead.
Funny how you believed
The lies but not the truth,
You say that I shock you
I know that I shocked you.
But you shocked me too.
You shot me too.
