The Song Of The World

Your heart gets tired of all of the crap you bring to it Thinking its love but its lust you're bringing to it Torn up inside you feel so worthless Thoughts going like an emotional circus You hold yourself tightly trying to comfort what's within Because within the past few months this is the only comfort it's been My body is transformed to the squared kitchen tiles on the floor I know that this is the pain I would endure because of everything God has in stored but I don't know if I can bare this cross that I'm holding especially when people living the easy life by living phony But The story God has for me isn't even for me but for me to minister to those who's living the same story Because Jesus's story is the reason why I'm here Gave His life so that I can live & not die & be cut up like these people's lives who are living in lies destroyed by the enemy's eyes It's crazy how this world is getting Men loving on men to get the fame & Getting drunk & going crazy just to say that it's the alcohol their blaming Trying to make up for the lies that you've had to hide by making the people That have seen your dirt crazy & fried Mentally & supposedly jealous of you because you know the world is just as gullible as you So they'll believe anything as long as its from their favorite rapper Not realizing that the rappers music is just helping our generation die faster I mean think about it Every song is talking about sex, drugs, money, & killing. Chicago crime rate has gone up to the ceiling Teenage girls are getting pregnant & dying of aids & Drugs are the only things people look for in parties & raves I mean When will it stop When will our generation stop killing each other to get to the top But it's not Really our fault The past generation rebelled against what has been taught So we've been left out on our own To live in this crazy place that we call home To take the things like lust & call it love Because everybody is singing the same song.
