Song For You

I've got my head in the clouds But I'm not coming down Cause life's so much more fun without your feet on the ground You do these things to me, and I've figured it out. I don't want to plan my future yet, I just want to live right now. It's warm outside, but the rain still falls And I know that you'll hear me when I call Out for help, cause I can't make it through all by myself And I lie awake staring at the moon But all the while I'm thinking of you Cause I knew all along That I'd right this song For you. There's no turning back Once you've fallen down But I don't want to go back To when you weren't around I never thought I'd be this happy When I see you I can hear the perfect melody It's raining hard, but the trees stand tall And I know that you'll hear me when I call Out for help, cause I can't make it through all by myself And I lie awake staring at the stars But all the while I'm wondering where you are And I knew all along.... That you'd always be there for me Even when I couldn't see What was always right in front of me. You're at my door while the rain still falls, And I know that you're here because I called Out for help, cause I can't go through life all by myself So we talked late into the night We fell asleep while you held me tight. And I really hope you like This song I wrote For you.

Anica Stemper

I love to write poetry, and usually make them into songs. Playing guitar, singing, and writing are my three passions. I have no idea how I would live without them.
