Songs Of a Dying Breed

I sing the song of a dying breed,

I sing it soft and mourning,

I ride to the cliff on a silver steed,

I ride with thunder roaring,

I search with hope that I might find,

I search with hope withdrawing,

I wander off,

they say im blind.

I wander off,

I’m falling.

I follow at last a promising lead,

I follow it with great yearning,

I sing the song of a dying breed,

I sing it soft and mourning.
