Sonnet 24
Day by day, my love seems to inflate
You’re the brightest star under my sunlight.
I’m convinced you lingered to me by fate
Like late night stars, your presence shines so bright.
Your skin so smooth provokes my daring senses
Never do I hope to disperse your side
Adjacent we’ll be, even through fences;
Like peas in a pod, together we glide.
Anticipating farewells spark all fears;
Separation only leads to forget.
A love like this is not one of vast tears
Nor a love full of varying regret.
Enduring faith will bind our hearts as one;
Despite distance, together we will run.
