Sonnet

I asked a man where to find God

He said to look deep in your heart

I asked another where to find God

He said he's meant to rot.

To rot is to wither from existence

which is what the man declared

For the idea of God had no place on Earth

like personal belongings that's been weared

Is there an almighty being who created the earth?

Remains silent in the clouds as he's meant?

The man says "yes

For the univesrse was made on accident."

I said "sir look around

for their are books and computers made by gents

yet you being the most complex creation in the room

claim to be created on accident?"

Credit should be given where credit is due

For the Lord our God created the world and all it's land

That we his children recognize his work of art

As it is God's plan.

Amen.
