Sonnet

The electrifying stars fill the night

While my heart moves slowly on alone

And lost in cold deep space I ignite

Drifting toward the sad black twilight zone

I dream and wish upon a shooting gold star

But then I stop moving I stumble I fall

My eyes travel and wander near and far

Then the blackness closes in I hear a call

Finally the galaxy wins at last

I can rest and relax and fade away

As I sleep my mind goes into the vast

The planets storm through a Milky-way

Now as I look upon the sky I drift

Then into my distant wanderous mind I lift
