Sonnet

Sonnet She spoke as if art was blood through her veins A walking flower blooming everyday They say flowers bloom in the salty rain She looked to the gloomy sun to stay Not just a wise woman sparked by magic The roots grown on her back began with gold But an essence like no other tragic Love is not love, love is power so bold And she was born with a beautiful soul Honey, we are the voices of beauty and love Now gone and unforgotten, we are whole For the soul sisters’ touch the sun above The women of the world are proud beings Moving mountains so far from all seeing - Winfrey Oenga
