Sonnet about late Father

I will always remember that summer day

I've never been one to cry

My life felt so dark and grey

For two years I asked myself why?

I to this day remember that date

You will always have my love

I won't let it control my fate

You're still hard to speak of

I know you're encouraging me to do good

You had all my heart

I know you did all you could

I wish I could go and restart

I was really really sad

But i'm proud aand happy to call you my Dad
