Sonnet of Appreciation
I just want to say I really love you
And the cooking you do every night too
Thank you for teaching me how i should drive
The tutoring where I learn to derive (I’m not deriving in pre-calc but it rhymes so…)
Thank you for always shovelling the snow
Going to the store to buy cheerios
I appreciate the stories you tell
The times you took me to the carousel
I love what you teach me going to school
My friends are jealous of my dad, he’s cool
When you wait for me at the library
Even when we may be in a hurry
Happy Birthday Dad! I love you so much!
I wrote a sonnet to tell you as such.
