Sonnet: THE BEACH

The beach is quite a way to spend your day.

The ocean waves crash hard on the soft shore.

Kids and families will always need play.

Being at the beach is never a bore.

People enjoy surfing in the water.

Lifeguards keep an eye out for the mean sharks.

Families don't want to lose their daugther.

Sharks could leave people with dangerous marks.

Kids love to make creative sand castles.

Parents like to sleep or read in their chair.

Which end up turning into a hassle.

Laying in the blazing sun if they dare.

People love to spend the day at the beach.

Teachers glad they don't have to go teach.
