A sonnet for Her.

With your lovely baby browns, stunning and glowing,
and your innocent smile that’s as pure as a crystal.
When I first saw these with your silken hair flowing,
it felt like my heart was shot by a pistol.

It’s incredible what you have skin deep,
but the beauty doesn’t stop there for you.
There are the promises you always keep,
and your ever-loving kindness, too.

Being with you and holding your hand,
has made my life greatly brightened.
It’s amazing that out of the countless grains of sand,
I have so easily found my diamond.

Inside this flawless diamond rests a soul that’s as luminescent as the moon.
And what more can I say? I'm glad heaven has come this soon.
