Sonnet J
I have never heard birds in summer sing Till you opened my heart to joy and song Now I feel as a bird upon his wings I will love you beyond eternal long For you, my love, the stars will shine right clear As they have guided me straight to you I hold you in my bleeding heart so dear Laughter and happiness for all you do Together as one we will have no fear Of ill omens and the freezing North wind Lay with me thus now and then in marriage No matter how much we think we have sinned Whether you're free or tied up in bondage I say this now and swear that is is true No words can tell you how much I love you
