A Sonnet for Music

Horrible days often are so silent

No words to speak nothing to listen to

The nature of those days can be violent

One moment you're fine, the next you feel blue

It's like a part of you  has gone away

You feel hollow, your heart gets heavy

Without the beat everything seems cliché

Then you push play and your steps get steady

Your blood starts pumping and your smile grows

The excitement follos and your day clears

You start to dance and now everbody knows

You can't live without the music in your ears

Your drug like addiction is your music

As long as your heat beats you will use it
