Sonnet: The Story of a Boy

He lived in a cupboard under the stairs With his untidy hair and lightning bolt scar. For him, his aunt and uncle had no care And told him his mum and dad were killed by a car. His cousin, Dudley, teased and bullied him, And because of this, he had no friends. Even though Dudley was quite dim, He could beat up anyone and win in the end. But then his fate suddenly changed When Hagrid knocked down the hut's door, To speak of the magical world from which he was estranged, And to take him home, to the place he'd adore. He would later make friends and perform spells, And for the boy who lived, all was well.
