Sonnet of Substance

Leave the judgement for the rest of the world

Just step forward for what you believe in

Don't trust the woman with her toes curled

She spouts lies of her artificial skin

Dancing in our fathers integrity

The life we own shines brighter by the day

The high demeanor leaves a legacy

Put behind the substance that leaves decay

So sing your song with the highest choir

Believe and stand tall on the mountain top

Scream out loud and set the world on fire

Let your voice carry on and dare not stop

They try to hang pictures of perfection

But the negatives fail their reception
